Happy New Year!

 

The WNY Teacher Center wishes you a happy 2026! While 2025 was an excellent year, having offered over 600 hours of professional learning opportunities and having served over 1000 teachers and teacher assistants, our New Year’s resolution is to continue to improve the quantity and quality of our courses, book studies, and other professional learning activities.

Since almost all of our courses and book studies have filled this year, we will be offering many of them again next summer and next school year.  We will also be offering new courses and book studies on topics such as AI in the classroom, Social-Emotional Learning, student motivation, working with students on the Autism spectrum, culturally responsive teaching, and more.

We will also be hosting our annual Summer Conference on August 18, 2026 at the Erie 1 BOCES Education Campus.  This year’s theme is The Power of Play.  Save the date now to spend a day with colleagues learning how to bring more laughter and joy to your classroom in ways that not only build relationships and reduce stress, but also enhance students’ brain development and increase learning.

We enjoyed meeting so many of you at our Great Teacher Giveaway. Please visit the Teacher Center and use our full-color poster maker, laminating machine, and explore our lending library.
