    Dear Parents/Guardians and Students,

         Welcome to room A-123! I want to extend to you and your child my warmest welcome into our classroom.  My name is Miss DeCarlo and I will be your child's teacher for the 2010-2011 school year.  We are an Erie 1 BOCES program located in the Cheektowaga Centeral School District. Our classroom consists of fourth and fifth graders.
         It is my belief that each child is unique. One of my jobs as a teacher is to accommodate all types of students and their various learning styles. I also believe in creating a safe environment in which students can learn and express their ideas and thoughts freely.
      I am looking forward to working with you and your child to create a successful year!
