    I am a culinary skills and baking and pastry instructor at the Harkness Career Center . As a high school student I attended BOCES and went on to receive my Associates Degree in the Culinary Arts  at the Culinary Institute of America. After working as both a chef and pastry chef in industry for a number of years, I returned to school and received my Bachelors degree in Career and Technical Education at  Buffalo State College.
    Students in the first year culinary program are guided through a wide range of culinary and baking applications. In the second year of the program, they are given an option to remain in the culinary program or focus soley on baking and pastry arts.
