    Kitty ZillaI currently teach high school classes 9-12th grade for Erie 1BOCES at MaryVale High School. I teach a workbased program that give student real life experiences. My philosophy is that all students have the ability to learn. They just need to find the motivation and apply themselves.
     
                 I attended Bryant & Stratton Business institute where I earned a Bachelors degree in Business Management. After several years in the working field I returned to Erie Community College receiving a bachelors degree in the Respiratory Care field. The experience I gained from this job led me to once more return to Buffalo State College were I obtained my Bachelors degree in Elementary Ed./Special Education K-12 and my Masters degree in Educational Computing. 
     
                 My experience is vast. I taught in Buffalo, Lafayette HS for 1 year, as a special education teacher to all grade levels. I have also taught at Southtowns Academy from 2002-2011. I then moved within the Lancaster High School teaching English & Social studies until 2014. I spent one year at Northtowns Academy teaching 6-8th grades.  In addition to my teaching experience I have worked in office management and also have 10 years experience working with patients with mild to sever respiratory problems.
