Spanish 1 is an introductory course for students who need their LOTE (Languages Other than
English) credit. Students will develop Spanish language proficiency through the use of speaking, listening, reading and writing skills. Students will be well prepared to take the Spanish Post Test. Students are encouraged to use Spanish in the classroom frequently and are exposed to various aspects of the Spanish speaking culture.
