• Student Career Portfolio:
A Career Portfolio is a purposeful collection of student work that demonstrates students’ personal growth and achievement within their CTE experience. It is developed by the student’s selection of work to document knowledge and skills necessary for success in the classroom and workplace. ELA instructors collaborate with CTE instructors to deliver meaningful portfolio assignments. As a result, students complete their program with a comprehensive professional career portfolio to use in their future endeavors. The portfolio requirement is a result of input from industry representatives who value this tool as a way to demonstrate communication and other work related skills. To stay current with 21st Century Skills, Erie 1 BOCES is piloting an electronic portfolio to improve
    student media literacy.
