Welcome to Applied Math! This is probably the most important math class you’ll ever take! In Applied Math we will learn about checking accounts, savings accounts, paying bills, budgeting money, insurance of all types, and investing your money. Wouldn’t you like to be a millionaire someday?

 

In this course we will be using a variety of activities and assignments to experience as much "Real Life" math as possible.  All students will be keeping a detailed notebook of our activites and assignments. If all  goes well  this year we will be enjoying speakers regarding insurance, financial planning and owning your own business.

 

Student grades will be based on in class activities, tests, and projects.  More information will be given in class.
