Adolescent Support: Programs, Resources, Publications and other informationPositive Youth Development supports the webpage from the Act for Youth Center of Excellence. Topics include NYS youth communicty activists. On-line training for adolescents, their parents and their providers offers short presentations on a variety of subjects.A database that contains hundreds of abstracts related to youth development, research and issues is also available. Another pages connects to current articles, reports, publications, papers and newsletters."Girls who Code" is a special 7-week summer program for 11th and 12th grade girls who want to learn more about computer science; the all-day classes are available in some other cities but not in Buffalo. The program is free, but students have to find or provide their own overnight accommodations. This is an intense immersion program intended to encourage girls to consider a future in computer science. No experience is necessary.
