Crisis Services and Mobile OutreachCrisis Services 834-3131 offers a 24-hour hotline for those who want or need to use the service. Callers do not have to provides their names or locations.A Kids Helpline 834-1144 is dedicated to adolescents and younger children.The Crisis Services Homepage (click above) further describes assistance in areas such as emotional crisis, homelessness, rape/domestic violence, trauma, abuse, suicide prevention or any other issue when help is needed.Emergency Mobile Outreach may be indicated in a crisis situation. Crisis Services has several resources for mobile units. Spectrum's CARES program responds to adolescents; adults are referred directly to Erie County Medical Center's mobile outreach team. Sensitive and highly trained counselors and social workers may be called for an on-site evaluation in efforts to stabilize a volatile situation or provide help to someone who needs further evaluation.
